Danielle Connolly
Danielle Connolly is a rare disease and disability advocate, content creator, and business and marketing professional. Born with a muscle disease that has remained undiagnosed for over 30 years, Danielle’s unique life experiences have shaped her various ambitions. She is passionate about making a difference through creative projects, advocacy, and collaboration. Under the username "Daniellevates"—a blend of her name and "elevates"—Danielle shares content that reflects her mission to elevate ideas about disability, accessibility, and inclusion through humor, storytelling, education, and adventures.
Alexa Heinrich
Alexa Heinrich is an award-winning social media marketer in northern Illinois and the director of the website Accessible Social. She is a passionate advocate for creating accessible and inclusive content for digital communications as well as educating others about the realities of working in social media. Since 2020, Alexa has given more than 150 presentations about accessible social media to digital professionals at numerous brands, organizations, and events around the world, including Harvard University, the National ADA Symposium, MIT, the World Health Organization, Sprout Social, Adweek, and the U.S. Congressional Progressive Caucus.
Becky Jackson Curran
Becky Jackson Curran is a disability inclusion advocate, professional speaker, and media consultant. Born with achondroplasia, the most common form of dwarfism, she has dedicated her career to advancing authentic representation of people with disabilities in media and society. Becky has worked at Creative Artists Agency, CBS Television Studios, and in the Equity & Inclusion department at SAG-AFTRA, supporting national diversity initiatives. She is the founder of DisABILITY In Media and serves on several national advisory boards and committees, including ArtLifting and the National Center on Disability and Journalism.
A sought-after speaker, Becky has delivered over 650 talks across the U.S., Canada, and Kenya, including two TEDx Talks. Her mission is to educate, empower, and create more inclusive spaces where all people are seen, heard, and valued.
Brendan Aylward
Brendan Aylward is the owner of Unified Health and Performance, an inclusive strength and conditioning facility in MA, and Executive Director of AdaptX, a non-profit organization that aims to improve the health and fitness of individuals with disabilities through education, research, advocacy, and opportunity. His companies contribute to the growing body of adaptive fitness literature through The Rick Hoyt Research Lab, where they pursue two lines of clinical and translational science: 1) The optimization of exercise delivery in people with ID/PD, and 2) The implementation of accessible and inclusive fitness environments Brendan and his friend, Jacob, have been a part of Team Hoyt New England since 2014, completing more than 100 races, including six marathons, together as a duo.
